The 4-star Fitz Roy is the only luxury hotel in Val Thorens. It is ideally positioned in the centre of the resort, at the foot of the glacier and the ski area. This former Relais et Châteaux was founded in 1985 and is one of the three flagships of the LMH brand. It is today managed by Carole Hemon who has a solid experience in the fields of tourism and luxury. With an already loyal base of French and International clients, the Fitz Roy now wishes to attract a new group of customers who appreciate elegance and discretion combined with the fun of winter sports in an authentic, chic and hip ski resort. </br> </br> The hotel has 35 rooms of 30 sq metres with views of the village or the slopes. Some are equipped with a mezzanine and a fireplace. There are also 3 luxury apartments of 50 sq metres and a Royal suite of 90 sq metres. After a day of skiing you will appreciate relaxing in your bathroom with private spa bath or enjoy the last rays of sunlight on your very own balcony. The Fitz Roy offers an exceptional culinary experience thanks to the talents of Monsieur Van Laher, the passionate chef who gives guests a choice between the gastronomic restaurant “La Salle du Roi” and a more traditional restaurant. This allows you to follow the inspiration of the artist through a varied menu of culinary treats, between light and modern recipes, cosmopolitan flavours and traditional Savoyard dishes. A menu that remains modest yet elegant, just like this chef with a passion for the mountains. The hotel now offers spaces that have been redecorated in traditional Savoyard style, as well as a completely refurbished ski room. In addition to all this the Fitz Roy has a brand new spa with Japanese treatments by Kanebo, a sauna, a swimming pool, a fitness space and facilities for hydrotherapy treatments.
