Estartit is a pleasant tourist resort turned towards to the sea and lined with a superb 5km long fine-sand beach, with fairly shallow waters which is ideal for children.
The Festamar apartment hotel is a 3-floor complex located in a quiet area which gets quite lively during the summer season, in July and August. The complex has a playroom, a bar-restaurant and is located 150m from the main beach. You can also enjoy the large swimming-pool in the complex open from March to November. The apartments are comfortable and well fitted and have reversible air-conditioning, TV, iron and ironing board. Water activities and diving is available around the Medes islands: a marine reserve famous for its fauna and flora. Estartit is also the ideal starting point for discovering Catalonia, from Cadaqués to Barcelona.
